Three ways that you can make an impact for Ukrainians right now:
Ukraine
Your prayers in action! Thank you so much to everyone who has given & for your support. Our MANNA Family from Ukraine has safely made it to Fathers House Romania! It is such a huge blessing to see our partners from different countries helping each other. Refugees who have already arrived at Father's house are getting along great, and the kids are enjoying time with their new Ukrainian friends! Please continue to keep Vova and Alex in your prayers. They will remain in Ukraine and head to Kyiv soon to deliver much-needed food and supplies. We will continue to update you on the situation with our partners on the ground.
Father's House (Romania)
We are incredibly blessed to have facilities that can take in at least 41 refugees. Father's House is one of MANNA's Family Homes that takes in children and raises them in a family setting with a mother and a father. Now we will be able to minister to more people whose homes have been taken from them in this same place. It is a large property with multiple apartments prepared with bedding, bathrooms, & everything these refugees will need to be comfortable. Please pray for our team, who are currently prepping to take in these refugees. Travel is difficult right now, and our team has been driving all over the country, gathering resources, and meeting people as they come across the border. Gas is currently $7 a gallon and is expected to rise to $9. With the complex issues around paperwork and working with embassies, our team is being pushed beyond their limits. Please keep them in your prayers and give to support the ongoing work they will be taking on as these refugees make a new life alongside them.
Tinca (Northern Romania)
In the northern region of Romania, we have Mircea and Pastor Ghitza, who have moved Ukrainian Roma refugees into safe and loving homes in Tinca. These Roma refugees are coming across the border on foot with nothing and cannot speak Romanian. We're fortunate that our Romania Roma can speak a language similar to the Ukrainian Roma and lead them to a community working to welcome them. MANNA has a medical clinic in this small village that is temporarily being used to shelter these refugees but will soon be operational to meet the community's medical needs! Mircea has been essentially living out of his truck since the beginning of the conflict. He left for the border the moment the war started and has been tirelessly serving there, ministering and showing love to these displaced people. Please pray that they can help get more Roma refugees across the border and make them feel welcome in their temporary homes.
