Guatemala Internship Details
Travel down to Antigua, Guatemala this Summer to work alongside our partner missionaries who run a trade school, a hotel, a bakery, a coffee farm, and an orphanage as platforms to share the gospel, create jobs, and empower locals with opportunities for a better future. This is a great opportunity for interns to leverage and grow in their understanding and passion for business and/or education to help bring spiritual, economic, and social transformation to communities all over Guatemala.
This Summer, our partners on the field will be starting a local bakery to create jobs, support local orphanages, and share the gospel. Interns will have the opportunity to join forces with our missionary to help start the bakery, in addition to working to improve MANNA’s hotel operations and the coffee farm. This will give the MANNA intern an amazing opportunity to learn first-hand what it takes to start and run a business focused on community impact and building the kingdom of God.
With the trade-school being fully operational and self-sufficient, interns will have the chance to learn first-hand what it takes to start and run a trade-school from the ground up from the business and administrational side. They will also be given the opportunity to teach English at local public schools and orphanages.
With the variety of work being so vast in Guatemala, interns will be given the choice to lean into the projects that specifically fit their unique gifts and passions. With that being said, if you find that you are looking for an internship focused solely on business, education, or general ministry (orphanage management, pastoral, etc.) or a mixture of focuses, this is the right opportunity for you!
Notice: We will be monitoring Guatemala’s Covid-19 statistics very closely. The safety of the people we serve, work with, and send as interns are our top priority.
